Basic au pair role, no more than 30 hours -minimum $250 per week

• Most suited to basic au pairs an au pair plus

• 4-5 days per week – approx. 5-6 hours per day – most weeks 25-35 hours per week. 

• Assistance with childcare;  doing school drop offs pickups, playtime and assistance with homework

• Some babysitting and light housework

• Free time minimum 2 full days per week, most weekends

• Au Pair Premium – Minimum $360 per week

Broaden au pair role, for up to 35 hours per week. Pocket money minimum $350 recommended $400

If you regularly need up to 35 hours of help with the occasional additional to up to 40 hours (school holidays, sick child)

• suited for Basic au pair and Au Pair plus

• 4-5 days per week -– often helping for up to 35 hours, ideally suited to full time  working parents

• Help with childcare; school drop offs pickups, playtime and assistance with home work plus some meal preparation and the occasional family meal cooking, also for caring for 3 or more children 

• Some babysitting and light housework

• Free time minimum 2 full days per week, some weekends

• Premium – Expect to pay $360-$450 approx. per week

Premium Au pairs,

In relation to Premium Au Pairs, with their accredit of skillset, we recommend a minimum of $360 per week in pocket money.

• Premium Au pairs with more experience can be given more responsibility

• Premium Au Pairs are ideal for busy families with 4 or more children

• Premium au pairs are able to assist with 2 or more children under 5 

• Premium au pairs may provide limited sole care for babies 12mths -24 months

• Premium au pairs have a more experience and completed education in teaching or early childhood studies or has previous employment in a formal childcare setting.
