Part-Time Au Pairs

A Part-Time Au Pair is an ideal childcare solution for families who require flexible support while offering a cultural exchange experience. Part-time au pairs typically provide 10–15 hours of childcare and light household assistance per week in exchange for full room and board, including a dedicated fully furnished bedroom and all meals.

If an au pair works more than 15 hours per week, additional compensation should be provided for the extra hours worked.

Part-time au pairs are generally available for short-term placements of up to 3 months, making them a popular option for families seeking temporary childcare support, assistance during busy periods, or help during school holidays.

As part of the program, part-time au pairs may also undertake part-time employment outside the host family, provided this does not interfere with their agreed au pair responsibilities.

Placement Fee

Our fee for arranging a Part-Time Au Pair placement is $550 + GST.

Unlike many agencies, Perfect Au Pairs does not charge search fees, activation fees, registration fees, or membership fees. We believe in transparent pricing, which is why families only pay a one-time placement fee when a suitable match has been successfully arranged.
