Perfect Au Pairs understands what is important to your family and incoming au pair, is that the orientation is focused on   information on how to make the placement work to the best of their ability, and to form a new network of au pair friends, also new to this experience of the cultural exchange program.

Perfect Au Pairs is now doing a more in-house approach to the  program to help your incoming au pair adjust to their new life as an au pair in Australia. This will be held in SYDNEY ONLY WITH DATES PROVIDED UPON FREE REGISTRATION commencing August 2022

Please note if you are in another state, and your au pair would like to  attend, we will need you to  accommodate their travel to your home after completion of the program. 

Another important note is that this is optional and if you and your au pair decide not to participate, we will send a welcome email and a welcome package to your au pair with a pre-paid sim card and travel discount card.

 

The inclusions for the program are as follows:

• Airport collection at anytime of arrival

• Accomodation  with another au pairs or a private dorm.

• Pre- Paid Sim card

• An Opal travel card with $20

• Bank account set up

• Tax file number set up​

• An induction session. Modules included in our induction​ are as follows:

1.  Helpful Hints on how to make your placement work.

2.  The importance of getting your Working with children Check and how to do this

3.  Essential child safety advice article & information.

4.  Basic CPR for infants and children and some basic first aid

5.  Example of a work schedule for your host family to complete

6.  Kids recipes – ideas of what to cook for meals and snacks

7.  Kids activities – ideas of things to so with children

8.  Useful website addresses, including ones for the local area

9. How to make friends

10. Emergency contact numbers for Perfect Au Pairs

11. Certificate of completion
